Learn the intricacies of the hospitality, tourism and wine industry. Courses prepare students for 8 certificates from the Educational Institute of the American Hotel & Lodging Association, culminating in certification as a Guest Service Professional.
Objective: This short-term program provides the student with the necessary skills to enter the hospitality industry. There is an emphasis on tour planning, convention sales and service, event planning, California wine industry, California tourism courses, international and domestic travel planning, and guest service. Graduates qualify to work as reservationists, front desk clerks, planners, concierge positions or conference service managers, in addition to numerous other positions in the tourism and hospitality industry.
Program Length: 3 quarters
Diploma awarded upon successful completion of all graduation requirements.
