Interested in finding a California bookkeeping course to prepare you for a rewarding accounting career? Residents of Sonoma County have an accounting school that will provide a great foundation for their accounting career! Learn fundamental accounting skills, word and data processing, and office procedures as a student at Empire College. Graduates of Empire College's accounting program should be prepared to assume a wide range of bookkeeping and assistant accounting responsibilities including payroll, general ledger, payables and receivables.
Objective: Our short-term, entry-level California bookkeeping courses are designed to prepare graduates for employment as bookkeeping assistants, account clerks, payroll clerks, accounts receivable/accounts payable clerks or data entry clerks. Empire College graduates have a variety of bookkeeping, computer and general office skills to meet the needs of employers in Sonoma County and beyond.
Courses prepare students for the four-part national Certified Bookkeeper examination through The National Association for Bookkeepers, as well as the Microsoft Certified Application Specialist (MCAS) Certificate in Excel.
Program Length: 4 quarters
Diploma awarded upon successful completion of all graduation requirements.
