The Accounting with Computer Applications program at Empire College helps you prepare for career advancement. Based in California, we offer business accounting courses, managerial accounting courses, federal income tax classes, payroll accounting and the computer applications used in accounting. Empire College is a great option for residents of California seeking accounting programs.
Objective: The Accounting with Computer Applications program is designed to prepare Empire College graduates for entry-level positions as account clerks or as full-charge bookkeepers. Accounting systems, cycles, theories and concepts are studied with a strong emphasis on computerized spreadsheets, word processing and computerized accounting to meet the demands of employers in California. Our accounting program emphasizes marketable skills to help graduates find rewarding positions.
Courses prepare students for the four-part national Certified Bookkeeper examination through The National Association for Bookkeepers, as well as the Microsoft Certified Application Specialist (MCAS) Certificate in Excel.
Program Length: 5 quarters
Diploma awarded upon successful completion of all graduation requirements.
