The comprehensive Accounting degree curricula includes courses in bookkeeping, payroll accounting, and entrepreneurship. Graduates of the Accounting programs available at Empire are fully prepared to work as junior-level accountants, bookkeepers, account clerks, payroll clerks, and many other financial related careers.

Our Business degree graduates move on to be successful entrepreneurs, project managers, and administrative assistants working in varying fields from hospitality to communications.

In this digital age, computer and information technology knowledge is a must have. Our I.T degree programs offer concentrations in Cybersecurity, Microsoft, and Linux network technologies. For your convenience, certification exams are administered on campus. Upon successful completion, students are qualified to be professional network administrators, system engineers, and computer support specialists

If you have an interest in the law and judicial system, consider a career in legal support. Our legal training programs prepare you for a career as a paralegal, legal office assistant, and law office administrator. Courses focus on legal research, ethics, civil litigation, e-Discovery, and the most prevalent areas of legal specialties in the North Bay. Our balanced curriculum primes our graduates to be a well-rounded asset to any legal office or attorney.

The medical field is one career focus that will always be in demand and provide job stability. Our medical programs equip students to be professional medical assistants, phlebotomists, and to work in medical billing and coding. Courses help you to become well versed in medical terminology, medical office procedures, insurance coding, and anatomy. Empire’s programs provide lots of hands-on training in clinical skills and an externship coordinated by the College.
Depending on your knowledge level, the GED Prep tutorial – offered free through the Empire College Foundation – can take 3 to 10 weeks to complete.

Transfer students are welcomed, and credit is awarded for equivalent college coursework.
