Karin Stoeckenius received her Juris Doctor Degree in 2010 from Empire College School of Law where she was Salutatorian. She recently opened her family law and mediation practice in Petaluma, where she shares office space with two other family law attorneys.
 
Ms. Stoeckenius received an MBA with honors from the University of San Francisco and a B.A. in Communication from the University of Colorado. She formerly worked in marketing management. She is trained in Mediation and Collaborative Practice and is a member of the Collaborative Council of the Redwood Empire. She also serves on the Education Committee of the Sonoma County Bar Association.
 
Robert Swanson graduated cum laude from Empire College School of Law in 2008 and received his license in 2009. While attending classes, Mr. Swanson co-wrote a short article for the Empire College Law Review and participated in the Environmental Negotiations Competition. He also worked full time as an engineer at a ceramic tile plant, a job he still holds. Since graduation, Mr. Swanson has been active at the College. He was an editor for and helped produce two volumes of the Empire College Law Review. And starting in 2009, he has been working evenings in the Empire College Law Library.
