Clinical Medical Assistant

Your medical career starts when you enroll in our clinical medical assisting college! Attend Empire College and attain the clinical skills necessary for back office medical assisting positions in doctors' offices, hospitals (laboratories, EKG departments and outpatient areas), private laboratories and other medical institutions.

Objective: Empire College makes it easy to live and learn in Sonoma County. Our medical assisting classes include extensive classroom and clinical instruction in medical terminology, medical office procedures, medical insurance billing and basic health care math. Students also take classes in basic anatomy, physiology and pharmacology. In addition to clinical procedures, students participate in a 125-hour externship.

Program Length: 5 quarters
Diploma awarded upon successful completion of all graduation requirements.
