Network Administrator

Objective: This program is designed to give students the ability to configure and troubleshoot computer hardware and administer and configure Novell and Microsoft networks. In addition, the program is designed to give the student experience with Network Infrastructure Administration and Active Directory Services in a theory and laboratory setting. Graduates are prepared to assume entry-level positions as network administrators or network technicians.
The student is prepared for 9 certifications:
- CompTIA A+ Technician, Network+, HTI+
- Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator
- Microsoft certification at the product level (MCP) in 4 areas:
- Windows XP Professional
- Windows 2003 Server
- Implementing, Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure
- Planning, Implementing and Maintaining a Windows 2003 Active Directory Infrastructure
- Novell Certified Network Administrator (CNA)
Program Length: 4 quarters
Diploma awarded upon successful completion of all graduation requirements.
